Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in FAVE LAPSE (the "App"), a mobile application provided by Liordo ("we," "us," or "our").

The App does not require you to create an account. The Free plan may show banner ads and rewarded ads. The Pro plan is ad-free. Your themes are stored primarily on your device.

3. Information stored on your device

The App stores the following information locally on your device:

Theme titles, categories, and ranked item names
Optional short comments attached to each rank
History (snapshot) data
App settings such as pins, drafts, play speed, and reminders
Information needed to schedule notifications
An optional background image you choose

This data remains on your device until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App. We do not store it on our servers linked to a user account.

4. Information we may receive (optional)

Only when "Send usage stats" is ON in Settings, we may send the following to our servers when you finalize a theme registration (default is ON):

An anonymous per-device ID (installId; not your name or email)
Category ID
Prompt ID (for preset prompts) or prompt title
Rank number and item title for each rank
App display language (ja / en)
Submission timestamp

We do not send full comments, background images, or other detailed theme data from your device.

5. Information we do not collect

The App does not collect or transmit:

Email addresses, names, phone numbers, or other contact details
User account credentials (the App has no login feature)
Location data
Data from your contacts app
The rest of your photo library (a background image you choose stays on your device and is not sent to our servers)

The Free plan may show banner ads and rewarded ads delivered by Google AdMob. Information handled for ad delivery follows Section 7 and Google's privacy policy. The Pro plan does not show ads.

6. Purposes of use

Device data and submitted data are used to:

Provide App features (creating and editing themes, history playback, notifications, export, etc.)
Display popular prompts and improve title suggestions
Prevent abusive or excessive submissions
Provide the Pro plan and verify purchase status (via App Store / Google Play)
Improve quality and fix issues

7. Third-party services

The App may use the following third-party services:

Apple App Store / Google Play (distribution and Pro subscription billing)
Firebase (receiving aggregated stats, App Check for abuse prevention, etc.)
Google AdMob (banner ads and rewarded ads on the Free plan)

Billing is handled under each store's privacy policy. Ad delivery follows Google's privacy policy. Aggregated stats are kept and processed in a non-identifiable form.

8. Retention

On-device data: Stored until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Submitted aggregated stats: Kept for as long as needed for service improvement, then deleted or anonymized.

9. Your choices

Usage stats: You can turn off "Send usage stats" in Settings at any time. When OFF, no new stats are sent.
Notifications: Managed via OS notification settings and in-app settings.
Deleting data: Delete themes in the App or uninstall the App to remove on-device data.

10. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when laws or our services change. If changes are material, we will notify you in the App or on the store listing. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
